These Terms and Conditions form the complete and binding agreement between Coastal Fresh Cleaning (“the Business”) and its clients (“the Client”) in Queensland, Australia. By engaging the Business’s services, the Client acknowledges, agrees to, and accepts these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
For Pressure Washing Services
1. General Liability Disclaimer
Coastal Fresh Cleaning accepts no liability for any health-related issues, property damage, or incidental losses occurring during or after service delivery, whether inside or outside the property. The Client acknowledges that cleaning services inherently involve risks, and Coastal Fresh Cleaning is absolved of any responsibility except where negligence is proven beyond reasonable doubt.
1.1 Exclusion of Liability
The Client agrees that Coastal Fresh Cleaning shall not be held responsible for:
• Health Issues: Any adverse health effects, allergic reactions, or sensitivities arising from exposure to cleaning chemicals, detergents, or processes.
• Property Damage: Any damage, deterioration, or discolouration to materials, surfaces, or structures, whether pre-existing or resulting from the cleaning process.
• Environmental Impact: Damage to vegetation, soil, or surrounding areas caused by cleaning agents, water runoff, or overspray.
• Interior and Exterior Damage: Damage to internal or external areas of the property, including water ingress, structural damage, or material wear and tear.
1.2 Absolute Waiver of Liability
By engaging Coastal Fresh Cleaning, the Client irrevocably waives all claims for compensation, damages, or indemnification except where negligence is explicitly and incontrovertibly proven.
2. Client Responsibilities and Pre-Service Obligations
The Client is solely responsible for ensuring the property is adequately prepared prior to the commencement of services.
2.1 Property Preparation
The Client must:
• Ensure all windows, doors, and other openings are securely sealed to prevent water ingress.
• Remove or protect all furniture, plants, decorations, and vehicles from the cleaning area.
• Deactivate or secure all exposed electrical fixtures, outlets, and appliances in or near the work zone.
Coastal Fresh Cleaning accepts no liability for damage resulting from the Client’s failure to meet these obligations.
2.2 Disclosure of Vulnerabilities
The Client must notify Coastal Fresh Cleaning in writing of any known weaknesses, defects, or vulnerabilities prior to service, including but not limited to:
• Cracks, loose materials, or deteriorated surfaces.
• Surfaces or materials unsuitable for cleaning agents or pressure washing.
Failure to disclose such vulnerabilities waives all liability for Coastal Fresh Cleaning for any resulting damages.
3. Health and Safety Disclaimer
The Client agrees that Coastal Fresh Cleaning shall not be liable for health-related risks or issues associated with the cleaning process.
3.1 Chemical Safety
• All cleaning solutions used by the Business comply with industry safety standards. However, Coastal Fresh Cleaning accepts no responsibility for:
• Allergic reactions, respiratory irritation, or skin sensitivities caused by exposure to cleaning chemicals or residues.
• Health conditions exacerbated by odours, airborne particles, or damp conditions during or after cleaning.
3.2 Residual Effects
• Cleaning agents may leave temporary residues or odours. Proper ventilation is the Client’s responsibility. Coastal Fresh Cleaning is not liable for any resulting discomfort, irritation, or health concerns.
3.3 Occupant Safety
• The Client is responsible for ensuring that all occupants, including children and pets, vacate the work zone during cleaning and remain absent until surfaces are completely dry and safe. Coastal Fresh Cleaning is not liable for any health issues arising from premature re-entry into treated areas.
3.4 Noise and Disruption
• Cleaning services may produce noise or temporary disturbances. Coastal Fresh Cleaning is not responsible for stress or discomfort caused by standard equipment operation.
4. Service Risks and Material Suitability
Cleaning services inherently involve risks. The Client accepts that Coastal Fresh Cleaning is not liable for:
• Unsuitable Materials: Damage to surfaces or materials that are aged, untreated, or otherwise unsuitable for cleaning chemicals or processes.
• Pre-Existing Conditions: Deterioration or issues exacerbated by cleaning due to pre-existing vulnerabilities (e.g., cracks, loose fixtures).
• Surface Appearance Changes: Fading, discolouration, or removal of protective coatings during or after cleaning.
Coastal Fresh Cleaning makes no guarantees regarding specific outcomes, including the complete removal of stains or prevention of regrowth.
5. Financial and Payment Terms
5.1 Non-Refundable Deposit
• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking. This deposit is forfeited if the Client cancels or reschedules within 48 hours of the scheduled service.
5.2 Final Payment
• The remaining balance is due immediately upon service completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Late payments will incur a penalty of 10% per week. Accounts overdue by more than 30 days will be referred to collections, with the Client responsible for all recovery costs.
5.3 Late Payments and Debt Recovery
• Invoices overdue by 7 days will be referred to a debt collection agency.
• A surcharge of 25% of the invoice total, or an amount equal to the collection agency’s fees (whichever is greater), will be added to the outstanding balance.
• All recovery costs, including legal fees and administrative charges, are the sole responsibility of the Client.
6. Dispute Resolution
6.1 Raising Concerns
• Disputes must be raised within 24 hours of service completion via email or written notice.
• Supporting evidence (e.g., photographs) must be provided within 24 hours of Coastal Fresh Cleaning’s response.
6.2 Non-Response Waiver
• If the Client fails to respond to communications regarding a dispute within 24 hours, the matter will be considered resolved, and no further action will be taken by Coastal Fresh Cleaning.
6.3 Frivolous or Defamatory Claims
• Coastal Fresh Cleaning reserves the right to refuse baseless or unsupported claims.
• Public complaints, including online reviews, must be substantiated by prior written communication. False or defamatory claims will result in legal action.
7. Environmental Conditions and Force Majeure
Coastal Fresh Cleaning is not liable for delays, damages, or disruptions caused by:
• Weather Conditions: Rain, wind, or extreme temperatures.
• Environmental Factors: Drainage issues, soil instability, or sensitive vegetation.
• Force Majeure Events: Natural disasters, pandemics, or emergencies beyond Coastal Fresh Cleaning’s control.
8. Occupant Safety and Conduct
The Client is responsible for ensuring the safety of all occupants during service delivery:
• All occupants, including pets and children, must vacate the work area and remain away until all treated surfaces are fully dry.
• Coastal Fresh Cleaning accepts no liability for injuries or accidents caused by unauthorised access to work zones.
9. Absolute Disclaimer for Property Damage
Coastal Fresh Cleaning is not liable for:
• Internal or External Damage: Any issues caused by water ingress, chemical reactions, or cleaning processes.
• Structural Weaknesses: Damage or deterioration exacerbated by pre-existing vulnerabilities.
10. Binding Agreement
By engaging Coastal Fresh Cleaning, the Client:
1. Confirms full understanding and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Waives all claims related to health issues, property damage, or environmental impacts except in cases of proven negligence.
3. Acknowledges that this agreement is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

By engaging Coastal Fresh Cleaning for window cleaning services, the Client agrees to these Terms and Conditions. This agreement constitutes a legally binding contract between the Client and Coastal Fresh Cleaning, a registered business operating in Queensland, Australia.
2. Service Description
Coastal Fresh Cleaning provides professional window cleaning services to remove dirt, grime, and other debris from the exterior surfaces of windows.
2.1 Levels of Cleaning Services
• Standard Window Cleaning: This includes basic cleaning techniques designed to remove surface dirt and debris. Minor water spots may remain after this service.
• Advanced Window Cleaning: This premium service uses purified, filtered water and advanced techniques to ensure streak-free, spotless results.
The Client acknowledges that the immediate appearance of windows may be affected by environmental factors such as water runoff, airborne dust, or debris from surrounding areas post-cleaning.
3. Client Obligations on Service Day
To ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning process, the Client is responsible for the following:
• Secure Property: Ensure all windows and doors are securely closed to prevent water ingress.
• Screen Removal: Remove all window screens prior to the scheduled service. Coastal Fresh Cleaning is not liable for damage to screens that are not removed by the Client.
• Clear the Area: Remove any obstacles, such as furniture, decorations, plants, or vehicles, from around the windows.
• Safety Measures: Keep pets and children indoors or away from the work area during the cleaning process.
• Access to Utilities: Provide access to:
• A working water supply with adequate pressure (minimum 40 PSI).
• An electrical outlet if required for cleaning equipment.
Failure to meet these obligations may result in delays, rescheduling fees, or incomplete service. Coastal Fresh Cleaning accepts no liability for any issues arising from the Client’s failure to meet these responsibilities.
4. Liability and Damage
Coastal Fresh Cleaning takes every precaution to protect the Client’s property; however, the Business is not liable for:
• Pre-Existing Conditions: Damage caused by loose or improperly sealed window frames, damaged glass, brittle materials, or other existing issues.
• Screen Damage: The Client acknowledges that window screens are fragile, and Coastal Fresh Cleaning is not responsible for damage to screens that are not removed by the Client.
• Environmental Factors: Damage caused by external factors such as debris, mould, or contaminants present on or around the property prior to the service.
• Structural Weaknesses: Any issues arising from existing weaknesses in the building structure, windows, or fittings.
The Client is responsible for disclosing any known vulnerabilities or pre-existing damage prior to the cleaning service. Failure to do so releases Coastal Fresh Cleaning from any liability for resulting damage.
5. Environmental Conditions
Coastal Fresh Cleaning uses cleaning solutions that are safe for all types of window materials and will not cause discolouration or damage.
5.1 Weather and Environmental Impact
• Weather Impact: Environmental conditions such as rain, wind, or dust may affect the appearance of windows immediately after cleaning. The Client acknowledges that such factors are outside the control of Coastal Fresh Cleaning.
• Residues: Residual water or contaminants (e.g., from weep holes or window edges) may run off after cleaning but will typically clear with natural processes such as rain or morning dew.
6. Payment Terms
6.1 Payment Due Date
• Payment is due in full immediately upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6.2 Late Payments
• Payments not received within the agreed timeframe may incur additional charges.
6.3 Overdue Invoices
• Invoices overdue by more than 60 days will be referred to a debt collection agency.
• A surcharge of 25% of the invoice total, or an amount equal to the collection agency’s fees (whichever is greater), will be added to the outstanding balance.
• The Client is responsible for all additional collection and legal fees associated with recovering the outstanding amount.
7. No Warranty
Coastal Fresh Cleaning provides no warranty for window cleaning services. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Guarantees of streak-free results or the removal of all dirt, stains, or contaminants.
• Long-term prevention of dirt, water spots, or other environmental factors affecting windows after cleaning.
• Protection against natural regrowth, weathering, or environmental exposure.
The Client accepts that window cleaning results may vary due to environmental conditions, material limitations, and factors beyond the Business’s control.
8. Cancellation and Rescheduling
8.1 Notice Period
• The Client must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling requests.
8.2 Late Cancellations
• Failure to provide the required notice may result in a cancellation fee equivalent to 25% of the service cost.
8.3 No Access on Service Day
• If Coastal Fresh Cleaning cannot access the property due to locked gates, unsafe conditions, or the Client’s absence, the service may be rescheduled, and the deposit forfeited.
9. Disclaimer
Coastal Fresh Cleaning is not responsible for:
• Indirect or Consequential Damages: Any incidental damages, such as loss of property value, inconvenience, or personal injury.
• Environmental or Structural Issues: Variations in results caused by environmental factors or pre-existing conditions at the property.
The Client acknowledges that window cleaning results may vary depending on factors outside the control of Coastal Fresh Cleaning.
10. Occupant Safety and Conduct
The Client is responsible for ensuring the safety of all occupants during service delivery:
• All occupants, including pets and children, must vacate the work area and remain away until all treated surfaces are fully dry.
• Coastal Fresh Cleaning accepts no liability for injuries or accidents caused by unauthorised access to work zones.
11. Responsibility for Adjacent Areas
While Coastal Fresh Cleaning takes precautions to avoid unnecessary damage, the Client acknowledges that:
• Nearby areas such as plants, vehicles, and other fixtures may be inadvertently affected by water, detergents, or cleaning tools.
• The Client is responsible for removing or protecting these items prior to service commencement.
12. Structural Weaknesses
The Client acknowledges that Coastal Fresh Cleaning is not responsible for:
• Any damage caused to brittle or weak structures, including but not limited to window frames, seals, fittings, and surrounding areas.
• Structural issues worsened by the cleaning process due to pre-existing vulnerabilities.
13. Agreement
By engaging Coastal Fresh Cleaning for window cleaning services, the Client:
1. Confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
2. Acknowledges the inherent risks associated with window cleaning services.
3. Waives all claims against Coastal Fresh Cleaning except in cases of proven negligence.

By engaging Coastal Fresh Cleaning for Builders Clean services, the Client agrees to these Terms and Conditions. This agreement constitutes a legally binding contract between the Client and Coastal Fresh Cleaning, a registered business operating in Queensland, Australia.
2. Service Description
Coastal Fresh Cleaning provides Builders Clean services designed to remove construction debris, dust, and residue to prepare properties for handover or occupancy.
The Client acknowledges that the Business’s services are tailored for standard cleaning processes and do not include extensive removal of excessive or improperly applied construction residues unless explicitly agreed.
3. Progress Payment Policy
To ensure seamless business operations, Coastal Fresh Cleaning requires progress payments at seven-day intervals. The Client must adhere to this policy and ensure payments are made by the specified due date.
4. Deposit and Cancellation Policy
4.1 Non-Refundable Deposit
• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required prior to the commencement of services.
• This deposit covers administrative costs, resource allocation, and scheduling and is forfeited if the Client cancels or reschedules within 48 hours of the scheduled service.
4.2 Cancellation Charges
If Coastal Fresh Cleaning is required to halt operations or is unable to complete the assigned task due to circumstances beyond the Business’s control (e.g., ongoing work by other trades), the Business reserves the right to charge for the resulting inconvenience, including:
• Travel time.
• Setup and pack-down.
• Opportunity costs for each affected team member.
5. Workspace Policy
A clear and unobstructed workspace is required for Coastal Fresh Cleaning to perform services efficiently.
• All other trades must have completed their tasks prior to the commencement of cleaning.
• If the workspace is not ready, resulting in reduced efficiency or delays, additional charges may apply.
6. Exclusions Policy
The Business’s quoted services do not include the removal of excessive residue caused by substandard workmanship, such as:
• Silicone.
• Paint.
• Render.
• Concrete.
• Mortar.
Should such residues be present, the supervisor will assess the situation. If extra time or resources are required for removal, additional charges may apply.
7. Damage Policy
Coastal Fresh Cleaning takes every precaution to protect the Client’s property; however, the Business is not liable for:
• Pre-Existing Conditions: Damage caused by loose, improperly installed, or brittle materials, such as window frames, glass, or flooring.
• Environmental or Structural Weaknesses: Damage caused by the removal of excessive construction residues that may highlight or worsen pre-existing weaknesses.
• Sensitive Surfaces: Scratches, chips, or other damage to sensitive surfaces, including but not limited to toughened glass, Comfortplus glass, and similar materials.
The Client acknowledges that:
• Glass should always be protected during installation.
• Protective coverings should only be removed by the window cleaner or authorised personnel to minimise damage risks.
8. Payment Policy
8.1 Timely Payments
The Client agrees to make all payments by the due date specified on the invoice.
8.2 Late Payments
The Business reserves the right to recover the following costs for overdue payments:
• Collection and Legal Costs: Any expenses incurred in recovering overdue payments, including debt collection agency fees and legal costs.
• Late Fees: Interest of 5% per month on overdue invoices.
9. Acceptance Policy
9.1 Acceptance of Staged Cleaning Work
Builders Clean services are typically completed in stages:
1. First Stage (Initial Clean): After the completion of this stage, the Client has 24 hours to inspect and raise any issues. If no written dispute is received within this timeframe, the work will be deemed accepted.
2. Second Stage (Intermediate Clean): The same 24-hour inspection and dispute period applies. Failure to raise concerns within this timeframe constitutes automatic acceptance of the work completed.
3. Third Stage (Final Clean): Upon completion, the Client has 24 hours to inspect and provide written feedback. If no disputes are raised, the work is deemed accepted.
9.2 Move-In Acceptance
Occupation or move-in by the property owner or tenants automatically constitutes full acceptance of all cleaning work, and no further claims or rectifications will be considered.
10. Dispute Resolution
10.1 Resolution Timeline
• If a dispute is raised within the specified 24-hour acceptance period, both parties will attempt to resolve it within ten business days of notification.
10.2 Further Resolution
• If unresolved, the matter may be referred to mediation or legal proceedings.
10.3 Ongoing Obligations
• Both parties must continue fulfilling their obligations under these Terms and Conditions during the dispute resolution process.
10.4 Injunctive Relief
• Coastal Fresh Cleaning reserves the right to seek injunctive relief if deemed necessary.
11. Environmental Conditions
11.1 Weather and Workspace Impact
Coastal Fresh Cleaning is not responsible for delays or reduced results caused by environmental conditions, such as dust, moisture, or debris introduced during or after the cleaning process.
12. Short Notice Conditions
Coastal Fresh Cleaning typically requires seven business days’ notice to allocate resources effectively.
For requests made with less than three business days’ notice, a 50% deposit may be required to accommodate rescheduling existing commitments.
13. Rectifications
13.1 Reporting Issues
• Any rectifications must be completed within seven days of the initial service.
• The Client must provide photos of the affected areas for assessment.
13.2 Completion Proof
• Upon completion of the rectifications, proof of completion photos will be supplied by Coastal Fresh Cleaning.
14. Occupant Safety and Conduct
The Client is responsible for ensuring the safety of all occupants during service delivery:
• All occupants, including pets and children, must vacate the work area and remain away until all treated surfaces are fully dry and cleared.
• Coastal Fresh Cleaning accepts no liability for injuries or accidents caused by unauthorised access to work zones.
15. Responsibility for Adjacent Areas
While Coastal Fresh Cleaning takes precautions to avoid unnecessary damage, the Client acknowledges that:
• Nearby areas such as plants, vehicles, and fixtures may be inadvertently affected by cleaning tools, water, or debris removal.
• The Client is responsible for protecting these items prior to service commencement.
16. Structural Weaknesses
The Client acknowledges that Coastal Fresh Cleaning is not responsible for:
• Damage caused to brittle or weak structures, including but not limited to window frames, glass, fittings, joinery, and walls.
• Damage exacerbated by the cleaning process due to pre-existing vulnerabilities.
17. Acceptance
By engaging Coastal Fresh Cleaning for Builders Clean services, the Client:
1. Confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
2. Acknowledges that failure to raise disputes within 24 hours of any stage completion constitutes automatic acceptance of the work.
3. Acknowledges that occupation or move-in constitutes full acceptance of the service, with no further claims or rectifications allowed.
4. Waives all claims against Coastal Fresh Cleaning except in cases of proven negligence.
Coastal Fresh Cleaning reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be communicated to the Client as necessary.

Terms and Conditions for End of Lease Clean Services
Coastal Fresh Cleaning (Registered Business)
These Terms and Conditions establish the complete and binding agreement between Coastal Fresh Cleaning (“the Business”) and the Client for End of Lease Clean services. By engaging the Business’s services, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the following Terms and Conditions in full.
1. Interpretation
In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:
• “Client/Client Nominee” or “You”: Any individual or entity purchasing services from Coastal Fresh Cleaning.
• “We/Us”: Coastal Fresh Cleaning or an authorised contractor approved by Coastal Fresh Cleaning.
• “Services/Service”: Any cleaning service requested by the Client.
• “Cleaner/Cleaners”: Any person performing cleaning services on behalf of Coastal Fresh Cleaning.
• “Heavily Soiled”: Excessive grime, dust, or dirt present beyond typical residential levels.
• “Managing Agent”: The agent managing the rental property, such as a real estate agent.
• “Property”: The property requiring an End of Lease/Bond Clean.
• “Bond Cleaning Standards”: The cleanliness level necessary to pass the Managing Agent’s inspection under the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Act 2008 and release the bond to the Client.
• “Reasonable Endeavours”: Our best efforts to make informed decisions based on the available information at any given time.
2. General
These Terms and Conditions govern all contracts for the supply of Services by Coastal Fresh Cleaning to the Client and take precedence over any other Client documentation or communication.
3. Inappropriate Behaviour
Coastal Fresh Cleaning maintains a zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate behaviour towards its staff or contractors. This includes:
• Harassment, intimidation, threats, or abuse (verbal, written, or physical).
• Explicit language, racism, or defamatory remarks.
Any such behaviour will result in immediate termination of Services without any obligation for rectification. Coastal Fresh Cleaning reserves the right to pursue legal action in such circumstances.
4. Pricing Policy
4.1 Deposit Policy
• Private clients, defined as those without an ABN, must pay a 50% non-refundable deposit before the commencement of Services.
• All deposits are non-refundable and cover administrative costs, resource allocation, and scheduling.
4.2 Quotes
Quotes provided are based on:
• An average, well-maintained property and standard room sizes.
• The Client’s description of the Property.
We reserve the right to adjust quotes if discrepancies or additional factors are identified, including:
• Heavily Soiled Conditions requiring extra time, effort, or chemicals.
• Specialist Services needed for specific areas.
• Additional Costs incurred, such as parking fees or key collection fees.
Failure to agree to quote variations may void the 7 Days Return Guarantee for the affected areas.
5. Non-Refundable Payments Policy
• All payments made to Coastal Fresh Cleaning are strictly non-refundable.
• If the Client cancels or reschedules Services with less than 48 hours’ notice, the deposit and any payments already made will be forfeited.
• In cases where Coastal Fresh Cleaning is unable to complete the service due to Client delays, non-access, or unavailability of utilities, no refunds will be provided.
6. Access to the Property
The Client must ensure the following:
1. Contact Availability: Be contactable at all times, especially one hour before the scheduled job start time.
2. Access Provision: Provide access to the Property at the agreed time.
• A non-access fee of $60.20 per hour (up to the total job cost) will apply if access is unavailable.
3. Utility Access: Provide electricity and running water. Failure to do so voids the 7 Days Return Guarantee.
4. Personal Belongings: Remove all personal belongings and rubbish from the premises before cleaning.
• Negotiations for rubbish removal can be arranged at additional cost.
5. Heavy Items: Move heavy items (over 5kg) before the cleaning service. Failure to do so voids the 7 Days Return Guarantee for those areas.
6. Key Collection Locations: Agree upon key collection in writing. Additional charges may apply for locations beyond reasonable distances.
7. Acceptance Policy
7.1 Inspection and Automatic Acceptance
End of Lease Cleans are completed in phases, and acceptance is determined as follows:
1. Post-Phase Inspection: After each phase of cleaning, the Client has 24 hours to inspect and raise any issues.
• Failure to provide written feedback within this timeframe constitutes automatic acceptance of the work completed for that phase.
2. Final Inspection: The same 24-hour inspection period applies after the final cleaning phase.
7.2 Move-In Acceptance
• Occupation or move-in by the property owner or tenants automatically constitutes full acceptance of all cleaning work, and no further claims or rectifications will be accepted.
8. Photo and Evidence Policy

Terms and Conditions for Home Cleaning Services
Coastal Fresh Cleaning (Registered Business)
These Terms and Conditions establish the complete and binding agreement between Coastal Fresh Cleaning (“the Business”) and the Client for home cleaning services. By engaging the Business’s services, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the following Terms and Conditions in full.
1. Scope of Services
1.1 Coastal Fresh Cleaning (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) agrees to provide professional home cleaning services to the Client (referred to as “you” or “your”) as outlined in the agreed-upon service contract.
1.2 Services include but are not limited to:
• Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitising surfaces, bathroom cleaning, kitchen cleaning, and other general household cleaning tasks as specified in the service agreement.
2. Service Standards
2.1 We uphold high standards of cleanliness using industry best practices and environmentally friendly cleaning products, unless otherwise specified by the Client.
2.2 While we strive to deliver satisfactory results, we do not guarantee:
• The removal of all stains or marks.
• The complete restoration of items or surfaces due to their pre-existing condition or age.
3. Liability
3.1 We maintain comprehensive liability insurance to cover damages or losses directly caused by our cleaning staff during service provision.
3.2 In the event of accidental damage or loss resulting from our negligence, we agree to repair or replace affected items up to the limit of our liability insurance coverage.
3.3 We are not liable for:
• Damages arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the Client regarding cleaning instructions or specifications.
• Wear and tear, pre-existing damage, or deterioration exposed during cleaning.
4. Payment and Fees
4.1 Payment Terms
• Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.2 Deposit Policy
• Private clients without an ABN must pay a 50% non-refundable deposit before the commencement of Services.
• All deposits are non-refundable, covering administrative costs, scheduling, and resource allocation.
4.3 Late Payments
• Late payments will incur a 5% monthly interest charge.
• Any unpaid invoices overdue by more than 7 days may be referred to a debt collection agency, with all associated fees payable by the Client.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
5.1 Notice Period:
• Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance to avoid penalties.
5.2 Cancellation Fee:
• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit and may incur additional fees for lost time and resource allocation.
6. Access to the Property
6.1 The Client must ensure the following:
• Unrestricted access to the property at the agreed time.
• Availability of electricity and running water. Failure to provide utilities voids any service guarantees.
• Removal of all personal belongings and rubbish from cleaning areas.
6.2 Non-Access Fee:
• If our cleaners are unable to access the property as scheduled, a fee of $60.20 per hour (up to the total job cost) will be charged.
6.3 Heavy Items:
• The Client must move any items over 5kg prior to the service. Failure to do so voids any guarantees for those areas.
7. Limitations of Service
7.1 Certain cleaning outcomes may be limited by factors beyond our control, such as:
• Permanent stains, marks, or ingrained dirt.
• Structural issues or wear and tear exposed during cleaning.
• Pre-existing damage to surfaces or materials.
8. Confidentiality
8.1 Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality regarding any proprietary, sensitive, or personal information disclosed during service provision.
9. Photo and Evidence Policy
To ensure fairness and avoid disputes, the following conditions apply:
1. No Zoomed-In Photos: Disputes based on zoomed-in photographs that exaggerate imperfections or minor issues will not be accepted.
2. No Photo Tampering: Edited, filtered, or manipulated photos submitted as evidence will not be considered valid.
3. Standard Inspections: Inspections must be conducted at a viewing distance of 1-2 metres under normal lighting conditions.
4. Extortion Prohibition: Attempts to demand rectifications or refunds using falsified evidence or exaggerated claims will result in termination of the service and possible legal action.
10. 7 Days Return Guarantee
10.1 The 7 Days Return Guarantee ensures we will address specific issues raised within 7 days of service completion, subject to the following conditions:
• Exclusions: The guarantee does not apply to:
• Permanent stains, ingrained dirt, or damage requiring third-party intervention.
• Issues caused by post-service use of the property or areas.
• Wear and tear or permanent damage to surfaces and materials.
• Conditions:
• A detailed report, including photos, must be provided to validate any concerns.
• The guarantee applies only to the specific areas serviced in the initial clean.
10.2 If no issues are raised within 7 days, the service will be deemed complete.
11. Dispute Resolution
11.1 Resolution Process:
• Both parties agree to attempt resolution through negotiation and mediation in good faith.
• If unresolved, disputes may be escalated to formal legal proceedings.
11.2 Costs:
• Mediation costs will be shared equally unless otherwise agreed.
12. Governing Law
12.1 This agreement is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
13. Acceptance
By engaging Coastal Fresh Cleaning for home cleaning services, the Client:
1. Confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Acknowledges that all payments and deposits are non-refundable.
3. Acknowledges the limitations of service and photo and evidence policy.
4. Waives all claims against Coastal Fresh Cleaning except in cases of proven negligence.
Coastal Fresh Cleaning reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be communicated to the Client as necessary.

Terms and Conditions for Carpet Cleaning Services
Coastal Fresh Cleaning (Registered Business)
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of carpet cleaning services (“Services”) by Coastal Fresh Cleaning (“the Business”) to its customers (“the Client”). By booking our Services, the Client acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Scope
1.1 The Services include professional cleaning of carpets using industry-standard equipment and cleaning solutions.
1.2 Additional services, such as stain removal, deodorising, or specialised treatments, may be provided upon request and must be agreed upon in writing with the Client.
1.3 While we aim to deliver the best possible results, Coastal Fresh Cleaning does not guarantee:
• The removal of all stains, especially those that are permanent or ingrained.
• The complete elimination of odours.
2. Booking and Cancellation
2.1 Booking:
• Bookings can be made via phone, email, or through our online booking system.
• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for private clients without an ABN to secure the booking.
2.2 Cancellation or Rescheduling:
• Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance.
• Failure to provide the required notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit and may incur additional cancellation fees.
3. Access and Preparation
3.1 The Client must ensure unrestricted access to the premises at the scheduled time of service.
3.2 The Client must prepare the area by:
• Removing all valuable, fragile, or bulky items from the areas to be cleaned.
• Ensuring clear pathways to and within the work areas.
3.3 Coastal Fresh Cleaning is not liable for:
• Damage to items not properly secured or removed.
• Delays caused by obstructions or lack of access.
4. Service Completion
4.1 Coastal Fresh Cleaning will endeavour to complete the Services within the agreed timeframe; however, completion time may vary based on:
• The condition of the carpets.
• The size of the area being cleaned.
• Additional services requested by the Client during the cleaning process.
4.2 Coastal Fresh Cleaning reserves the right to adjust the cleaning plan as necessary to achieve the best possible results, subject to the Client’s consent for any additional costs.
5. Payment
5.1 Payment Terms:
• Payment is due upon completion of the Services, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Accepted payment methods include cash, credit card, or bank transfer.
5.2 Late Payments:
• Late payments will incur a 5% monthly interest charge.
• Any unpaid invoices overdue by more than 7 days may be referred to a debt collection agency, with all associated fees payable by the Client.
6. Liability
6.1 Coastal Fresh Cleaning will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing the Services. However:
• No guarantee is provided for the removal of all stains, marks, or odours.
• Results may vary depending on carpet material, age, and condition.
6.2 Coastal Fresh Cleaning is not liable for:
• Pre-existing damage to carpets or surrounding areas.
• Damage caused by furniture, fixtures, or equipment not removed by the Client.
• Discolouration or damage resulting from the natural wear of carpets or prior treatments.
7. Customer Obligations
7.1 The Client agrees to:
• Provide accurate information regarding the areas to be cleaned and any specific cleaning requirements.
• Cooperate with Coastal Fresh Cleaning’s personnel and adhere to any safety instructions provided during the provision of Services.
• Notify Coastal Fresh Cleaning of any pre-existing damage or sensitive areas requiring special attention.
7.2 The Client must ensure pets, children, and unauthorised individuals are kept away from the work area during and after the cleaning process until the carpets are dry.
8. Complaints
8.1 Any complaints regarding the Services must be reported to Coastal Fresh Cleaning within 24 hours of completion.
8.2 Coastal Fresh Cleaning will make reasonable efforts to resolve any issues promptly, subject to:
• Valid photographic evidence provided by the Client.
• Proof of unsatisfactory cleaning as per industry standards.
9. Photo and Evidence Policy
To ensure fairness and avoid disputes, the following conditions apply:

11.2 Updated Terms will be communicated to Clients in advance and will apply to all future bookings.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
12.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
12.2 Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia.
13. Acceptance
By booking Coastal Fresh Cleaning’s Services, the Client:
1. Confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Acknowledges that all deposits are non-refundable.
3. Agrees to the photo and evidence policy and waives any claims against Coastal Fresh Cleaning based on invalid evidence.
4. Waives all claims against Coastal Fresh Cleaning except in cases of proven negligence.
Coastal Fresh Cleaning reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be communicated to the Client as necessary.

1.2 Client Responsibility for Accurate Address Information
Clients must provide a complete and accurate service address at the time of booking. Any inaccuracies may result in delays, additional fees, or cancellation of the service without compensation. Coastal Fresh Cleaning is not liable for inconvenience caused by client-provided errors.
1.3 Additional Fees for Extended Service Areas
Service requests outside standard service areas may incur additional fees starting at $50 AUD. These charges will be communicated to the client in advance, and acceptance will be required to confirm the booking.
1.4 Amendments to Service Areas
Coastal Fresh Cleaning reserves the right to revise or redefine service area boundaries without prior notice. Clients impacted by these changes will be notified promptly. Coastal Fresh Cleaning accepts no liability for any inconvenience resulting from service area amendments.
1.5 Refusal of Service
Coastal Fresh Cleaning reserves the right to refuse services in areas deemed unsafe, inaccessible, or operationally unsuitable.
2. Non-Refundable Deposit Terms and Conditions
2.1 Deposit Requirement
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total service cost is required at the time of booking. This deposit secures the appointment and allows Coastal Fresh Cleaning to allocate resources and prepare for the scheduled service. These terms apply to all services.
2.2 Non-Refundable Policy
The deposit is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to cancellations, rescheduling, or no-shows, except when Coastal Fresh Cleaning cancels the service.
2.3 Rescheduling Policy
Clients may transfer their deposit to a new booking, provided they give at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled service. Rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the service will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.
2.4 No-Shows or Late Cancellations
Clients who fail to attend their scheduled appointment or cancel within 24 hours of the service date will forfeit the deposit in full.
2.5 Acceptance of Partial Work
In cases where work cannot be completed due to unforeseen circumstances, clients agree to accept partial work performed. Payments for completed portions will be adjusted proportionally, but the 50% deposit remains non-refundable.
2.6 Additional Charges
If the scope of work changes after booking, any additional services will require new payments or adjustments to the deposit. Coastal Fresh Cleaning reserves the right to modify deposit terms based on scope changes.
3. Terms and Conditions for Incomplete Work
3.1 Commitment to Quality
Coastal Fresh Cleaning strives to complete all services as per the agreed scope of work. However, certain factors may result in incomplete work, such as external conditions beyond our control.
3.2 No Fault or Liability
Coastal Fresh Cleaning will not be held liable for incomplete work caused by:
• Safety concerns: Hazardous conditions or unsafe structures.
• Environmental factors: Severe weather or unforeseen site conditions.
• Client-provided resources: Faulty or unavailable utilities (e.g., water or electricity).
• Client interference: Delays or disruptions caused by unpreparedness or interference.
3.3 Acceptance of Partial Work
If work is incomplete but progress has been made, clients agree to accept the value of partial work performed. Payments for completed portions will be required in line with the original agreement, and the 50% deposit remains non-refundable.
3.4 Communication of Issues
If factors arise that prevent completion, Coastal Fresh Cleaning will notify the client immediately and propose solutions, which may include rescheduling, adjustments, or additional costs.
3.5 Rescheduling and Continuation of Work
In cases of paused work, Coastal Fresh Cleaning may reschedule at a mutually convenient time. Additional fees may apply for further preparation or return visits.
3.6 No Guarantee of Future Completion
Coastal Fresh Cleaning reserves the right to decline continuation of incomplete work if delays or disruptions remain unresolved or beyond the company’s control.
4. Communication Policy
4.1 Authorised Contact Only
All inquiries and correspondence must be conducted through the individual listed on the invoice, referred to as the “Authorised Contact.” This person is solely responsible for all service-related communications.
4.2 Prohibition of Third-Party Communication
Communications from unauthorised third parties will not be acknowledged unless written authorisation is provided by the Authorised Contact.
4.3 Relevant and Professional Inquiries
All communications must pertain to the agreed service contract. Irrelevant, unprofessional, or unsolicited inquiries may be disregarded.
4.4 Privacy and Confidentiality
All communication is confidential and will not be disclosed to unauthorised parties. Coastal Fresh Cleaning retains the right to use records of communication for quality control or legal purposes.
5. Defamation and Review Policy
5.1 False or Defamatory Statements
Negative reviews, comments, or statements made without prior communication to resolve the issue will be considered defamatory. Coastal Fresh Cleaning may pursue legal action against defamatory claims.
5.2 Legal Action for Defamation
Coastal Fresh Cleaning reserves the right to pursue legal action against individuals or entities that harm its reputation through defamatory or false remarks.
5.3 Feedback Restrictions Post-Refund
Clients who accept a refund as resolution are prohibited from posting feedback or reviews. Such actions may result in legal consequences.
5.4 Encouragement of Constructive Feedback
Coastal Fresh Cleaning welcomes constructive, professional feedback directly to improve service quality.
6. Disclaimer for Images and Content Usage
6.1 Ownership of Visual Records
All photographs, videos, and related content captured by Coastal Fresh Cleaning are the sole property of the company.
6.2 Use of Visual Records
Coastal Fresh Cleaning reserves the right to use these materials for:
• Marketing and advertising.
• Social media.
• Training and internal use.
• Legal documentation.
6.3 Privacy Measures
Coastal Fresh Cleaning will take reasonable steps to exclude personal identifiers in published materials. Incidental inclusions will not constitute a breach of privacy.
6.4 Consent and Waiver
By engaging Coastal Fresh Cleaning, clients consent to the collection and usage of visual records and waive any claims to royalties or ownership.
7. Legal Enforceability and Acceptance
7.1 Legal Binding Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between Coastal Fresh Cleaning and the client.
7.2 Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Australian law. All disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of Australian courts.

8. Late Fee and Debt Collection Policy

Invoices overdue by more than 7 days will be referred to a debt collection agency.
8.2 Additional Charges
A surcharge of 25% of the invoice total or an amount equal to the collection agency’s fees (whichever is greater) will be added to the outstanding balance.
8.3 Client Responsibility for Recovery Costs
Clients listed on the invoice are solely responsible for all debt recovery costs.
Acceptance of Terms
