Where fungal growth is present on COLORBOND® roofing, BlueScope Technical Bulletin TB-27 recommends cleaning using a 2% sodium hypochlorite solution, allowing approximately 3–5 minutes contact time, followed by a thorough rinse with copious amounts of fresh potable water. BlueScope cautions that stronger concentrations or excessive contact times may adversely affect the long-term performance of the product.
