Not every service needs to be performed every year. We can assess the property and determine which areas actually require attention.

Maintenance, Not Restoration

Annual cleaning is designed to maintain exterior surfaces, not restore materials that have already deteriorated.

Cleaning cannot reverse oxidation, fading, corrosion, peeling paint, failed coatings, deteriorated render or other pre-existing material failure.

Where we identify something outside our cleaning scope, an appropriate painter, roofer, renderer, builder or other trade professional may be recommended.

6-Month or Yearly Maintenance?

There isn’t one maintenance schedule suitable for every property.

Yearly maintenance can be suitable for properties with moderate environmental exposure and customers wanting regular general exterior upkeep.

6-month maintenance may be more appropriate for properties experiencing greater mould growth, vegetation, coastal exposure, sheltered areas or environmental contamination.

Manufacturer-specific recommendations should also be followed where applicable. For example, BlueScope’s maintenance guidance for certain COLORBOND® steel unwashed areas can specify more frequent fresh-water washing than an annual schedule.
